Read ID cards in bulk
Drop photos, PDFs or one zip file. Each card is turned upright, read, and its ID number checked against the date of birth and its check character, so misread values are flagged instead of exported.
OCR AI · Documents in, spreadsheet out
OCR AI reads Mauritian National Identity Cards in bulk — photos, PDFs or a zip of everything — checks every value, shows you only the cards that need a second look, and fills your own spreadsheet layout. It runs on our own servers in Mauritius; your documents never go to another company.
THE EVERYDAY WORK
Drop photos, PDFs or one zip file. Each card is turned upright, read, and its ID number checked against the date of birth and its check character, so misread values are flagged instead of exported.
Upload the spreadsheet your system expects once. Columns are matched automatically; the instructions, styles and other sheets of your file are kept, and the sample rows are replaced by your people.
Only the doubtful values are flagged. Correct them next to the card, add the other columns of your layout per person or for many people at once, and confirm.
Search every person across all your batches, change what you need and download Excel or CSV as often as you like. Age is worked out from the date of birth on the day you download.
Every file and every file inside a zip is scanned for viruses before it is opened. Infected files are deleted, never read, and the rest of your batch continues.
Your data is encrypted with a key of its own. Photos are deleted after the number of days you choose, and one click wipes everything — including any copy in our backups.
EXPLORE THE WIDER APPLICATION
Explore the application’s modules below. Availability depends on the agreed package, enabled modules and setup; the list is not a promise that every feature is switched on in a new trial.
Bulk reading of Mauritian ID cards with checks on every value; more document types are being added to the same workspace.
Your own Excel layout, filled in and downloadable at any time.
Uploads are checked before they are opened, and your data stays yours.
Confirm your selected modules, staff or device limits, required equipment and external provider charges before agreeing to a package. Prices will be published separately.
LOOK AFTER YOUR BUSINESS RECORDS
Understand how the hosted service protects access, what your team configures, and what to agree before you rely on it for daily trading.
Separate application databases
Portal-managed Invoicer, MRA POS and Smartorder workspaces use separate application databases and credentials. This separates business records while hosting infrastructure is shared. Business AI uses scoped access keys and quotas rather than a separate AI server for each customer.
HTTPS for website and workspace access
HTTPS encrypts traffic between your browser and the hosted website or workspace. The portal hashes account passwords and encrypts stored provisioning secrets and integration keys. This does not mean every database, file or backup is encrypted at rest. Older attendance terminals and external devices need a separate connection-security check.
Configure access for each person
Use individual staff accounts and the selected application roles and permissions. Give each person only the access their job needs. Enable two-factor authentication where the application and package support it. The OML Cloud portal provides expiring, single-use password-reset links.
UFW active on our hosting server
The hosting server uses an active UFW firewall with incoming traffic denied by default and explicit rules for required services. This helps restrict network access; it complements application permissions, updates and secure account practices. It does not replace protection on your own devices or network.
Confirm your recovery plan before going live
Backup and export tools vary by application and package. Agree which business databases and uploaded files are covered, the schedule, retention, storage location and restoration process. Portal and deployment backups exist; a complete managed customer backup service with off-site copies and tested recovery is still being finalised. Daily backups, encryption of backup files and a recovery-time guarantee are not currently promised.
Connect payments and document delivery
Combine supported Blink or other payment connectors with electronic invoices, receipts and quotations. Send through configured email or WhatsApp workflows, or share a customer link or PDF where supported. Your merchant account and delivery channels need activation and testing. Keep required business records; paperless working does not remove record-keeping responsibilities.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
An example of how the service can fit into your day.
BEFORE YOU GET STARTED
Your workspace is the starting point. These details help make it ready for your business.
The front of the Mauritian National Identity Card, in both current designs. Several cards in one photo are read as separate people.
Each page read uses one page credit. Your plan includes monthly pages; top-up packs never expire. Refused or infected files are free.
Original uploads are deleted once read. Photos are kept for review for the number of days you choose. Extracted data stays until you delete it or wipe your data.
For ID cards only if you allow it in Settings. Business documents help improve the reader by default, as stated in the terms; you can switch it off.
Choose OCR AI when you spend time typing details from ID cards into spreadsheets. Invoices, receipts, utility and phone bills and bank statements are coming to the same workspace.
